It is important to be
polite and to show
courtesy on public transportation.
When you are riding on the bus, the train, or the subway, you must read the
signs and watch for people who need a seat more than you.
You can be
polite and show
courtesy by giving your seat to:
- a pregnant woman
- a disabled person
- an elderly person
- a person with a baby or toddler
It is also important to move out of the way for people in
wheelchairs so they do not have
difficulty getting on.
